Windmill II was built in 2003. It is a housing choice voucher complex (section 8 vouchers are distributed through EH Town or any other housing authority) for applicants over the age of 62, those who qualify pay 30% of their income towards the rent. It is a federally-subsidized complex and accepts applicants from all over the country. There are 47 one-bedroom apartments, all are handicapped accessible. Each apartment is equipped with a medical and fire alarm which is linked to a central monitoring company.
Because of the size of the community room, it allows for groups to be able to meet there. Such as the East End Disability Group and the Church of the Nazarene. Bringing community together which is something the Board of Directors has continually strived for.
